Hose Carried: 1200' - 5" Supply Line, 1000' - 2&1/2' Line, 750' - 1&3/4 Line.
Specality Equipment: Thermal Imaging Camera, Rapid Deployable Monitor Nozzle, Foam Stick Nozzle.
Engine 1 was custom built for East River VFD and was the first custom fire engine the department received. It responds to all structure fires, and shares the load with Engine 2 for other types of fire related responses. It has five riding positions and is equipped with portable radios for each position. It also is equipped with a computer system containing pre-plans, Haz-Mat Data, and GPS enabled hydrant and street mapping.
