Engine 3 is our first due rescue engine. It carries in addition to it's firefighting capabilities a full set of TNT hydraulic rescue tools, air lifting bags, air chisels, and portable floodlights. With acquisition of funds from the 2005 fire act grant we were able to also purchase a complete set of poly-cribbing for the unit to further enhance or rescue capabilities. The unit has riding positions for six firefighter and is equipped with portable radios for each position. It is also equipped with a computer system containing pre-plans, Haz-Mat Data, and GPS enabled hydrant and street mapping.
