Service 5 is our multi-purpose unit that responds primarily to rescue calls to provide more manpower and support for Engine 3. It also carries a complement of additional resources needed on the fire ground and will respond on structure fires as a "last out" unit. The truck was purchased from a local car dealership and was outfitted as you see here by the members of the department. In November 2005 , while on scene of an MVA in Interstate 77, this vehicle was struck by a passing motorist while members were working the scene. Fortunately no one in either party was injured but the truck had to under go a few weeks in the body shop.
